The foundation stone for a new distribution center for BASF Coatings AG in Münster, Germany was laid on February 19. The 420 million distribution center is slated for completion during the second quarter of 2004. The distribution center will be able to store 12,600 tons of finished products on 30,500 pallets. The fully automated high bay warehouse will dispatch various coatings products–automotive OEM coatings, automotive refinish and industrial coatings–to customers worldwide.
